Growing up in the streets of Entebbe, I was always fascinated by Land Cruisers carrying travelers with their heavy bags, cameras, and excitement for adventure.

I admired the people behind the wheels those who seemed to be exploring places I could only imagine. At the time, I didn’t even know it was a business, I just knew I loved that lifestyle and wanted to be part of it someday. With time, that admiration grew into action. I began working as a special hire driver, moving from place to place across Uganda. Each trip opened my eyes to something new breath taking sceneries, kind people, and hidden gems I had never seen before. Those journeys became my classroom, showing me how much beauty Uganda truly holds.

As I traveled more, I developed a deeper sense of purpose. I realized that I wasn’t just driving people I was helping them experience the magic of Uganda. That’s when the idea for Joro Expeditions was born.

Today, Joro Expeditions is more than a tour company. It’s a reflection of my passion for discovery, my love for people, and my desire to share Uganda’s beauty with the wordAt Joro Expeditions , our tours are centered on authentic Ugandan experiences blending adventure, wildlife, culture, nature, and wellness.
